Co-Founder of Shakti Space, Emma began her yoga and meditation journey at the London Buddhist Centre, seeking calm amidst the city’s chaos.
Trained in mindfulness, Hatha, Ashtanga, and Yin, Emma’s classes create a welcoming space for all to find connection, peace, and self-discovery.

Sam Barker

Co-Founder of Shakti Space and a local East Londoner, Sam began her yoga journey 20 years ago. Her classes blend Yin, Hatha, and Ayurveda, creating a holistic, nourishing practice for all.
Trained at Arhanta Yoga Ashram in India and with Jane Bakx, Sam believes in the power of movement, even the slowest flow can transform your well-being.

Anne Shalo

A former dancer turned yoga teacher, Anne found healing through movement and now offers that same self-love and transformation to others.
Certified in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Lotus Reiki, Anne brings over 10 years of experience teaching in Chicago, the Netherlands, and London. Her classes are inclusive, welcoming, and designed to nurture mind, body, and soul.

Kiran blends classical South Asian healing with a modern, intuitive approach, offering restorative Yin Yoga and breath-focused classes at Shakti Space. Their practice integrates Ayurveda, sound healing, and Naad Yoga to support deep rest, emotional balance, and Prana flow. Expect grounding sessions infused with the melodic sounds of the Indian Bamboo Flute and Bowed Sitar.

With nearly a decade of teaching experience, Liz brings a calm, grounding presence to every class. Certified in Hatha, Yin, and Kids Yoga, she blends mindful movement with functional anatomy and a focus on nervous system regulation. As a Mental Health First Aider, Liz creates inclusive, welcoming spaces for students to move, breathe, and reconnect.

Silvia’s yoga journey deepened during a period of stillness in Singapore, where she found healing through breath and movement. With over 18 years of corporate experience, she now offers grounding Hatha, Vinyasa, and flow classes, emphasising alignment and mindful practice. Silvia’s classes are a space to reset, reconnect, and carry inner strength beyond the mat.
